Design+Build FAQs
While your website will be 100% complete (no "content goes here" or missed Lorem Ipsum sections), there are a few things that are outside the scope of a typical Design+Build project:
— Logo design - Although we may make small changes to your logo at your request, or convert it to vector format if possible at no extra cost. Webtricity also includes a simple logo generator that is free to all users).
— Copywriting - Copywriting services can be added at any time, but are not included in Design+Build
— Custom design and/or excessive modifications to the selected template - We'll work hard to create a website that you're 100% happy with within reasonable limits. Your web designer has a finite amount of time in the day, and understandably cannot spend an exorbitant amount of time creating a fully custom website for the Design+Build price offered. Your web designer will go over expectations during your Project Call.
— Stock photography purchases - Webtricity has an extensive stock photo library and your web designer has access to many sources for additional photos, icons and graphics, but any purchases for specific photos or images for your site are not included in the Design+Build price. However, you are welcome to supply your own photos/images for your web designer to use on your site.
— Website Analytics account creation/setup* - Your web designer will install analytics tracking codes supplied by you, but the analytics service account creation/configuration is not included in Design+Build.
*PRO and VIP Plans include Plausible account setup, configuration & installation, with or without Design+Build.
All Webtricity users have full access to manage their website on our platform. Changes are simple & fast to complete, letting you get your updates done and move on with your day.
Our helpful support team is available to answer any questions you have or provide instructions or tips on how to complete an update.
If you're on our PRO or VIP plans, we can also advise and assist with ongoing post-launch updates.
No. Webtricity websites must be hosted on our platform. You cannot build the website with Webtricity and then move the code to another website hosting company. Please don't steal our artwork, designs, or content.
Yes. The cost of your hired designer will be between you and them. You'll setup your Webtricity account and then invite them as a user on your site.
Once your site is live, if you are no longer continuing to use their services, you can remove their access to your website.
Yes. You do not need to decide up front if you want to add Design+Build.
You are welcome to try out our user-friendly software first, and then if you run out of time or decide you would like some help after all, just let us know and we can jump in and complete your project.
We'll do everything we can to build a website that you're 100% happy with. During your Project Call with your assigned web designer, you'll have a chance to outline your vision for your website. Your web designer will listen carefully, ask questions, take extensive notes, and then work hard to design the site to meet your needs.
If during your Project Call, your web designer feels that your vision is outside the scope of what Webtricity can offer, they'll be up-front about any limitations or restrictions that might prevent them from building the your website and offer alternative solutions that might better fit your needs.

If the site that is built for you is not up to your standards, we'll do everything we can to make it right.
