Before you close out 2023 and head out the door for the holidays, take care of these few housekeeping items to save yourself money, time and/or a headache in 2024.
Claim Unused Discounts
If you are a Safeco Ignite Agency and have not used your 2023 reward credit, you can use your credit towards your Webtricity hosting.
To verify your Ignite reward status, check with your Safeco rep or email agentprograms [at] safeco [dot] com.
If you'd like to use your Ignite reward credit towards your Webtricity hosting, Safeco can provide you with a promo code. Send that promo code to support [at] webtricity [dot] com and we'll apply the credit to your account.
Secure Your Account
Make sure your Webtricity account remains secure by following these recommendations:
- Turn on 2-Step Sign-In for your account, and require other users with access to your Webtricity website to enable it as well. You can check to see if your users have this enabled here.
- Review the list of people who have access to your Webtricity account and deactivate accounts that are no longer in use. You can review that list here.
- Don't share Webtricity user accounts. Additional user accounts are free and easy to set up. Giving each person their own login improves accountability and provides additional security to your Webtricity account.
Renew Your Domain
If your domain expires, your website and your email no longer work. That's bad. Make sure this doesn't happen to you:
- Set your domain to auto-renew annually.
- Verify the payment method used on your account is still valid.
- Make sure domain renewal notification emails are landing in your inbox and not your spam folder.
